Murder on hope’s peak express.
You all arrive at the station by your own methods, Its midnight and the siren sounds, the voice of the man is as unclear as usual but you can make out what he says:
“The last train for the night will be arriving soon, its the express train only, going through the brand new mountainside express pass, no stops till hope’s peak station, we are sorry for the inconvenience.”
After the announcement sounds, a large majority of the crowd leaves the station, they were clearly headed for different stations, lucky for you, you are headed for the last station. There are some odd-looking characters around you, and With that thought in your head you stumble into the train, it’s funny, you could’ve sworn this looks somewhat off, and quite different from the other trains, in the brochure you read they were supposed to be high-class looking trains but then again... You’ve never travelled on the express trains. So you pay no mind to its different look and enter anyway…
The train looks equally as odd from the interior, you found yourself only able to enter the carriage on the end of the train, when it pulled up to the station the fact that there were 20 or so carriages was surprising, but for all of them to be locked seemed quite unsettling to you, you also noted that the inside of the carriage looked a bit larger than it looked from the outside. Everyone left at the station packs into the one small carriage and the train sets off, in the top corners of the carriage you see 1 monitor, and on the opposite, 1 camera. Having a security camera makes sense, but the monitor seems a bit peculiar to you.
A few minutes into the ride you hear a whirring sound, then a series of large clunking noises. Suddenly, thick layers of rusty metal slam down covering all the doors and windows! And on top of that, multiple small holes open up in the floor, and flying out of them comes a series of spears! They fly upward and pierce the skulls of several other passengers! All but 16 people are killed instantly, the other 15 people look just as shocked and horrified as you.
You are all paralyzed with fear, quite literally, you can’t find the strength within you to move, you have a feeling something… supernatural is happening. As you can’t help but stare mindlessly at the bodies, a door opens up on the end of the carriage, and several cloaked figures enter the room. They walk among you, heads hanging, with no words, humming an ominous tune, they are holding circular objects, bracelets, they go around strapping them to everyone’s right arms, you feel a point jabbing into your wrist from the inside of the bracelet.
You all shake in fear and confusion as they walk back into the next room, soon after you hear rumbling, it wasn’t you that was shaking, there is an avalanche happening outside the train and it comes to a very sudden halt, you are no longer paralysed as you drop to the floor and the shaking tosses you around violently, you all narrowly avoid the spears that impaled your unfortunate fellow passengers.
After this happens, the monitors turn on, you are greeted with a face.
A voice comes through the attached speaker, “Welcome, dear passengers of the express train! Please enjoy your ride, we maaay or may not have come across a slight bump in the track, an avalanche of snow has fallen down on the track and we’ve had to stop the train, to protect you passengers, we have activated lock down mode so the falling snow doesn’t break any windows… In any case, please do not sit quietly and do not stay calm. i’ll give you some time to introduce yourselves, get to know each other, find a target and get to know this one room, if you have any questions i guess i’ll bother to answer...”
And with that, the screen turns off…If you want you can talk to the monitor and the dood might respond.
